Bright Noise is a boutique SEO agency built for businesses that want experienced SEO strategy without getting lost inside a big agency.
I’m Mike Felumlee, founder and SEO strategist at Bright Noise. I’ve spent more than a decade working in digital marketing, including nearly nine years at a large agency where I primarily managed SEO for automotive dealerships, along with clients in industries like accounting, restaurants, law, coffee, and physical therapy.
I started Bright Noise because I wanted to work with fewer clients and be more involved in the work. When you hire Bright Noise, you work directly with me on the strategy, research, content, technical SEO, reporting, and ongoing growth of your website.

Outside the office
A Little About Me.
Outside of SEO, music and pinball take up a pretty big part of my life.
When I’m not working on a client’s website, you might find me playing in a pinball tournament at Punk Rock Pinball HQ, the pinball club I co-founded in Bloomington, Illinois, or behind the drum kit at a Smoking Popes show.
That same obsessive streak probably explains why I like SEO so much. I enjoy digging into the details, figuring out what is working, and finding ways to make something perform better.
